1. Everytime you feel bad about yourself, the first thing you need to do is to change the way you think, this is one of the best ways to improve self esteem without making drastic changes in your life, pay attention to the thoughts that make you feel bad about yourself. Write them down.

When you’ve finish writing those thoughts, ask yourself these questions:

Do they help you achieve a positive purpose?

Do they help you move forward?

Do they work in your favor in any way?

If you said no to any or all of the above questions then you have to tell yourself:

This Thought does not help me so I’m letting it go and focusing on what can improve my life.

2. Make a list of 5 preferably 10 things you are grateful for in your life. Take your time on this and really think about this. For example, it could be a physical attribute, a talent you have, material possessions, your beautiful family, a spiritual quality, etc.

Every time you write something down that you’re grateful for and you put a feeling into it, your way of seen things change completely, you start to improve self esteem because you feel like you have more value that what you give yourself credit for.

Suddenly you start to realize that you have a lot of things to be happy and confident about than what you thought you had.

Keep this list close to you because every time you feel sad, discourage for something that happened to you immediately read this to change the way you feel. It’s better if you memorize it.

This exercise could seem simple but it works wonders, when you read this list and you get emotionally attach to what you have written. it’s like a flame that start burning inside of you, because you have realize that you are very valuable, when you speak to someone you have a feeling of value about who you are and what you have to offer to the world.

3. Think of what do you want to improve in your life. Write it down. Now think about how you can find a solution to that, don’t think about the problem, think about the solution. How can you improve those aspects of your life.

Change one aspect at a time not all of them at the same time. When you’ve finish with one aspect choose another one and so forth.

4. Stay away from people with pessimistic, negative attitude. People that talk negative things about you or others, because when you don’t master this process, they can affect the way you feel.

Preferably surround yourself with positive, enthusiastic people, because this will make your life easier and fun. However, always be yourself don’t try to be what other people wants you to be. Be yourself because each person is unique and different.

When you begin to practice these four simple tips every day you’ll boost your self esteem.
